12 Jul 2008 - Pre season update

So far the pre season is going well. There are a few comings and goings and as the Cat would say a few playing

hide and seek.

Goings are Mark McCann(transfer list) and Alan Shanks (West Kilbride).  Playing hide and seek and beating Vinny Muir's

record at the moment is John Nolan (also transfer list.

Incomers so far are Billy Gilmour, Scott Houston (both ex Ardeer Thistle) and Graeme Hamilton (ex Clark Drive)

A couple of other players possibly in the pipeline as well but the nucleus of the team remains from last season and that 

wasn't a bad team too. 

Park wise the pitch is looking OK - a few bare spots that we need some advice on but plenty of grass and the park has

been measured and  marked for lining in time for the Irish boys next week which is sure to be a grand day out.

Certain people covered in masonery paint as well after some running repairs and we are looking for someone to repair nets

as well......any suggestions then please let me know. 

Remember the game  on Saturday v Wellington Recreation kicks off at the obscenely early time of 11:30 am.....ie half and hour before noon..........
